Broccoli crowns and cauliflower are up on price. There’s a gap between growing fields due to the cool temperatures in central California. Mexico is also struggling with their broccoli crown production and have started to pull from California. Not enough supply to meet the demand. The season of navel oranges has come to an end, and we are transitioning to Valencia’s out of the USA. Blood oranges, tangerines and cara cara oranges out of California are winding down as well. Once those are finished, we’ll transition to offshore product out of Australia, New Zealand, & Chile by the end of this month and early July if all goes well. We have fully transitioned to both green and red grapes out of Mexico. Keep in mind that it’s the beginning of their season and the fruit is on the smaller end. Both iceberg lettuce and smaller sized lemons(140-200ct) continue to remain high on price. Not enough volume to full fill the demand. Lastly, honey gems (Mann’s label) are extremely limited. They are also experiencing a gap in the growing fields and the demand overwhelms the supply. We have been substituting with Green gems (Church Bros label) lettuces to full fill our orders.
