  • Strawberries are up on price and quality is fair. Salinas/ Watsonville’s season has come to an end and only Santa Maria and Oxnard production available. In about 30 days or so Mexico should begin with their production.
  • Starting next week, the price on Cantaloupe and Honeydew’s will be down. More production out of Mexico will be available.
  • We are completely done with USA peaches for this year.

LA Produce market will be closed on Friday November 10, 2023, in observance of Veterans Day.
 Prices that are still High
  • Limited supplies on jumbo carrots and high demand and price.
  • Mangoes are very short out Brazil and Peru. Expect price to stay high throughout the month.
  • Artichokes are limited in supply on all sizes and labels, price is up.
  • Blueberries continue to stay high on price. There is not enough to production to cover the demand out both Peru and Mexico
  • All tomatoes are up on price, especially grape tomatoes (Roma’s, cherries, 4x4 , 4x5, Etc..) We are transitioning from Norther Mexico (Baja) to Southern Mexico and not enough production to cover the demand.
  • Both yellow and white corn are still high on price. We are done with Oregon and only California production.
