Our Facility

We originally started in 1973 with a 2400 square foot building. Then in 1992, we moved into a newly constructed 27,000 square foot facility. In 2008 we moved into our most recently built 63,000 square foot distribution facility at 700 S. Hathaway St. in Santa Ana, where we house our fleet of over 75 trucks. This state of the art facility utilizes the latest advances in the fresh produce and seafood distribution industry. We have considered every detail of our operation to ensure that our facility exceeds the current standards for health & safety. This new facility provides us with the foundation for continued growth and consistently exceptional quality and service in the years to come.

​    HACCP Certified
  Our facility located in Santa Ana is HACCP Certified (Analysis and Critical Control Point System), designed and built specifically for food distribution. It is inspected by AIB which is a third  party with a very high rating. Temperature control is essential, and our facility is uniquely structured to take care of that. We receive the products with refrigerated trucks, we stage them under controlled temperatures, and we have refrigeration monitors in our warehouse for both refrigeration and gases produced by certain fruits and vegetables. The temperature chain is kept until the product is delivered to each one of our customers in refrigerated trucks. Our fleet of trucks, now numbering more than 75 is maintained by our in-house mechanics in Santa Ana.
Our seafood processing and distribution is fully HACCP certified as well. We have taken every precaution needed. We have very high standards and follow very strict guidelines when it comes to temperature control and sanitation. We are third party and FDA inspected annually, to make sure our customers get the highest and safest quality seafoods available. We are always welcome to having tours of our facility. ​We take pride in the many steps we have committed ourselves to being a   "GREEN"  company. Ingardia Bros. Produce strives to better our environment and community around us. We have done many things in an effort to reduce waste. 
  • Solar  Energy efficient warehouse using 1364 photovoltaic 354 kw. system enough to produce 30% of our usage.
  • Zero Landfill  on all our trash. All our solid waste is sent to a refuse-to-energy facility in the City of Commerce.
  • Recycle  fresh seafood scraps 100% made into animal feed. All cardboard and wooden pallets are recycled.
  • Water   has been reduced by 30% since 2013
  • Lighting    has been replaced in both the warehouse and office lighting to LED, reducing power usage less than 50%.
  • Organic    Purveyor of Organic, Conventional and Eco-friendly products.
