Romaine, romaine heart, and green leaf are up on price. The quality and supply have been affected by all the rain in Santa Maria & Salinas from 2-3 weeks ago (anthracnose /virus), therefore leaving less yields out on the growing fields.
Avocados are on the rise as well. There is a high demand for Cinco de Mayo and Mother’s Day weekend. Both Mexico and USA short on large fruit (40/48ct) to full fill the demand.
​Cauliflower is also active. Fields are gapping and not enough supply to full fill the demand.
