June 1973 - June 2018: Celebrating 45 Years in Business!

In June we will be celebrating our 45th year in business & we are looking forward to celebrating our 50th in the years to come! On behalf of the Ingardia family and our 210+ employees, owners Sam and Joe Ingardia would like to thank all of our customers for making it possible for Ingardia Bros. Produce to become Orange County's largest and most respected produce, seafood, dairy & grocery company.

There are several reasons that the Ingardia's have reached this milestone. When they opened a small retail store in Costa Mesa on June 16, 1973, their philosophy was to take care of their customers and give them quality and service at a fair price.

As the Ingardia's reputation for great quality and high standards for service grew, so did the family business. One afternoon, a customer who was shopping in the retail store asked if his order could be delivered to his restarant. From that point on, Ingardia Bros. Produce started the wholesale delivery business, six days a week (Monday-Saturday).

We originally started in 1973 with a 2400 square foot building. Then in 1992, we moved in a newly constructed 27,000 square foot facility.

Fast forward to 2018, and we are now in our most recently built 63,000 square foot distribution facility at 700 S. Hathaway St. in Santa Ana, where we now house our fleet of over 75 trucks. This state of the art facility utilizes the latest advances in the fresh produce and seafood distribution industry. We have considered every detail of our operation to ensure that our new facility will exceed the current standards for health & safety. This new facility provides us with the foundation for continued growth and consistently exceptional quality and service in the years to come.

Now that we have adjusted to our newest facility, we have committed ourselves to being a "green" company. Ingardia Bros. Produce strives to better our environment and community around us. We have done many things in an effort to reduce waste. We have installed solar panels on our roof and invested in an energy efficient warehouse, including but not limited to, reduced water usage, comprehensive LED lighting, and extensive recycling. All of our solid waste is sent to a waste-to-energy facility and our fresh seafood scraps are made into animal food. We pride ourselves on maintaining a "green" business and strive to continue doing so in the future.

Furthermore, Ingardia Bros. Produce delivers to the indepently owned food service establishments in the five Southern California counties. Our courteous staff is always here for you, 24 hours a day and our buyers are constantly trying to find the highest quality products at the best price. If you have any questions, please reach out to us and let us help you!

We appreciate the opportunity to service your organization and look forward to a long and prosperous relationship with you.
