Brussel sprouts continue to be extremely limited and high on price. Less and less production out California and Mexico is still 2-3 weeks away before they are in full swing. This also affects the brussel sprout halves. Not enough raw product to process because of quality and sizing of the sprout. The demand exceeds the supply.
Celery also continues to be limited and up on price. Central coast California is in a production gap and not enough production to full fill the demand out the Arizona/California desert. Expect prices to stay high until the end of the year. Broccolini is also up on price. There’s a production gap in Yuma, Az because of all the rain they received 2 weeks ago. The holiday demand exceeds the supply.
