Cauliflower and broccoli crowns continue to be active and up on price. Cold weather is affecting the production in the Salinas valley, Yuma production hasn’t reach full capacity, and little product crossing over from Mexico. This also affects the price on the florets.
Watermelons are also active and up on price. There’s a production gap between Northern Mexico (Sonora) and Central Mexico (Jalisco). Plus, the east coast suppliers have been impacted by Hurricane Milton, leading to pull from the west coast cover their demand.
Both Zucchini and yellow straight neck squash are supper active and up on price as well. The California production is done and very little supply coming out of Mexico due to the cold weather they are experiencing.
Strawberries continue to be active and higher on price. The cold weather continues to affect the California production and very little production out of Mexico.

Wild arugula, baby spinach, cello spinach, spring mix, & sweet salad are active and up on price. Central California is experiencing a lot of cold weather; days are shorter, and plants are producing far less yields.  We are about 2 weeks away from the transition to Yuma, Az.

Leafy items: iceberg, romaine, romaine hearts, green leaf & etc. are also limited and up on price. We are winding down with Central California and plants are producing far less yields. Coachella, Ca has started with their production, but very little to full fill the demand and Yuma, Az is about 2 weeks away.

Two-layer tomatoes continue to be active and up on price. There’s less and less volume out of California. The East coast is pulling heavy from California because Florida has very little production due to the hurricanes/weather. Nothing expected out of Mexico until early December.
Red and Yellow bell peppers continue to be active. Central California is winding down and transitioning to Coachella, Ca. Very little production out of Coachella to full fill the void, therefore driving the prices up.
