Cauliflower and broccoli crowns are active and up on price. There is a production gap in California and Mexico is having quality issues with their production. Not enough production out of California to full fill the demand.

Iceberg, romaine, romaine hearts and green leaf are also active and up on price. Santa Maria, Ca is having quality issues with their production and Santa Maria is light on their production. Expect prices to increase throughout the week.

This will also impact the prices for broccoli florets, cauliflower florets, shredded lettuce and four-way salad.

Romaine and iceberg lettuce continue to be active and up on price. Limited production out of Santa Maria and relying on Salinas to fill the void.

Kennebec potatoes are also active and up on price. Storage Kennebec’s are basically finished, product coming out of Arizona is having a lot of quality and sizing issues. California just started their season, but a lot of small potatoes therefore not enough large sized ones to fill the demand. Production not expected to get better until middle of July.

Cara cara oranges are done for the season. California has finished its season and offshore product out of Australia is expected to arrive in August. Best substitution would be blood oranges.

Romaine and romaine hearts are active. Oxnard, Ca is done with their production, Santa Maria is in a production gap, therefore only leaving Salinas to cover the demand. Not enough production to full fill the void which is driving the price up.

Green bells are active and up on price. Mexico is winding down with their season and California not in full swing to full fill the void.

Green grapes are also active. Mexico got hit with a lot of rain and flooded some of the growing regions. Domestic grapes out Coachella have started, but they are holding their price and sizing is small.
